The Mead of Poetry is a legendary substance, said to be the drink of the very first Skalds and musicians and storytellers. This Mead is pure inspiration, and once one has drunk of it, they are never the same. Odin is said to have stolen it long ago from it’s jotun guardians, and now he provides it to inspire the living and to revive the dead that the Valkyries carry back to Valhalla.
