To the south lies Muspelheim, the realm of fire, ruled by Surt the Fire Giant and king of all the Jotun. Or so he claims. Thrym of Jotunheim maintains that he is the linneal king of all giants.

Muspelheim is a Demi Plane connected to the Elemental Plane of Fire. Until the end of the world, it is not directly connected to the Prime Material.
